After importing your image. The next step in your project is to animate it.
The basic principle in animating using Videofork.co is to answer the two questions for each image you have in your project:
“How and when the image is going to ENTER the scene?”
“How and when the image is going to EXIT the scene?”
Follow the below steps to customize entrance and exit animation of your image:
Step 1: Make the image visible in the canvas by checking the square box in the Tree pill for the image, refer below screenshot:
Step 2: Click on the stopwatch icon next to the checkbox in the Tree Pill to open up drop down menu for entrance and exit animation (see below).
Step 3: Open the entrance animation settings form by clicking the “Entrance Settings” drop down item.
By default all the imported image will have “FadeIn” as entrance animation and duration as “0.5” (500 milliseconds). The Animation time will be generated relative to other images present in your project.
Step 4.0 – Animation type: Now let’s say you want to change the default “FadeIn” animation to something else. Click the first input in the form and choose your preferred animation. I’ll choose “LightSpeedInLeft” in the dropdown.
Go ahead and change it and click ‘Preview‘ button. your image should now animate like below:
Step 4.1 – Animation Time: If you want your image to appear in the video at 5th second, you need to edit the input named “Animation Time“.
For our image, the current entrance time is 00:00.0 (0 seconds). To change the timing to 5th second enter “00:05.0” in the “Animation Time” input and click “apply“.
Uncheck the checkbox for the image in Tree Pill and click play button on the left panel.
See the below preview of the above option in action, keep an eye on the timer on the left. The image should animate exactly at 00:05 seconds.
Note: the “Animation Time” input is in the following format MM:SS.ms.
MM – Minute(s)
SS – Second(s)
ms – Millisecond(s) (divided by 1000, for example: for 200 milliseconds you would type .2)
Step 4.2 – Animation Duration: This option helps us to slow down or fasten up the Animation. Lower the value, faster the animation..,vise versa. Go ahead and play around with this value and preview the animation.
Repeat from Step 4.0 to 4.2 inside the “Exit Settings” dropdown form to customize the Exit animation of the image.
