Once you’ve created your project (click here to see how to create a new project). The first step is to import images. We will see the various methods available on Videofork editor to import images.
To see the options available for you to import, you need to click on the “Add New Image” button on the right panel (See screenshot below).
Once you click the button you will see a popup open that looks like below:
Here you have 3 options, lets get in detail about each options one by one
First option you have is to add text. This is simple, you type in the text you need and choose the color & font family then click “Insert Text” button.
Note: Every time an image/text is added to the canvas, a new Tree Pill Item is created in the right panel. It looks like the screenshot below and it is used to work with the image in the editor.
We will go in detail about using these Tree pills in the upcoming tutorials in this series.
Videofork.co allows you to search for 1000+ free SVG images for your project from within the editor. To import an SVG image from the search form to your project follow the below steps:
Step 1: Type in the search keyword in the input and press ‘Enter’.
Step 2: Click on the image you want to import. It will be highlighted with a red outline.
Step 3: Click on “Insert SVG” button in the bottom right corner of the popup.

Upload Image or Import from URL:
The third tab has two options to import images to your project. The first being the URL import, where you can paste the direct URL of the image and click ‘Import‘ button.
Or you can upload from your local machine by clicking the upload Icon or dragging your image to the upload box. Refer screenshot below.
Note: Only jpg, png, SVG and MP4 file format is allowed. If you need to import GIF, you must convert it as MP4 video to import.
